Plan ahead and save time
To ensure that your journey to EMO Hannover is relaxed and uncomplicated, we have compiled the most important information on the best travel options for you. Whether by car, public transport, or plane, here you will find helpful tips on how to get to Hall 4, Booth C08 at the Hannover Exhibition Center quickly and comfortably.
✈️ Arriving by plane
Taxi:
Taxis are available directly in front of the terminal and are a convenient way to get to the airport. The journey takes around 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Please tell the driver that you would like to go to the Messe/Ost 2 entrance.
Rental car:
There are numerous car rental companies at Hanover Airport. The journey to the exhibition center also takes around 30 minutes. Please note that parking may be limited during major events. The nearest parking facilities for HAIMER are parking lots P12 or P13.
Public transport:
Take the S5 S-Bahn line towards Paderborn Hbf and change at Hannover Hauptbahnhof to tram line 8 towards “Messe/Nord.” The “Messe/Nord” stop is located at Hall 2. From the North 2 entrance, you can walk through Hall 2 towards Hall 4. The entire journey takes about 45–60 minutes.
🚗 Arriving by car
Navigation address:
Enter “Hermesallee, 30521 Hannover” into your navigation system. This will take you directly to the exhibition grounds. The journey time is approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
Parking:
The Hannover Exhibition Center has numerous parking spaces. Follow the signs to the exhibition center and the parking guidance system to find a suitable parking space. For the most direct access to HAIMER (Hall 4), we recommend parking in the P Ost area or in parking garages P12 or P13.
Traffic volume:
Please note that increased traffic is to be expected around the exhibition grounds during EMO. Check the latest traffic information before departure to avoid delays.
🚆 Arriving by train
Tram:
Tram line 8 runs directly from the main station to the exhibition center. Get off at the “Messe/Nord” stop, which is located in the immediate vicinity of Hall 2. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Via the North 2 entrance, you can walk through Hall 2 towards Hall 4.
Taxi:
Taxi stands are located directly in front of the main train station. The journey to the exhibition center takes about 15 minutes, depending on traffic. Please tell the driver that you would like to go to the Messe/Ost 2 entrance.
🚌 Arriving by public transport
Tram:
Line 8 runs directly from the city center and the main train station to the “Messe/Nord” stop, near Hall 2. Via the North 2 entrance, you can walk through Hall 2 towards Hall 4.
Subway:
Line 6 stops at the “Messe/Ost” station, from where Hall 4 is within walking distance.
Bus:
Several bus lines run to the exhibition center. Current timetables and routes can be found on the website of the Hanover Transport Association (GVH): www.uestra.de.
